A Close Look at Dua Lipa’s Two Siblings, Sister Rina and Brother Gjin, are carving their own paths following in her footsteps

Dua Lipa and her siblings hail from a musical lineage deeply rooted in their family history. As the eldest child of Anesa and Dukagjin Lipa, Dua’s upbringing was influenced by her parents’ diverse backgrounds. Anesa, of Bosnian descent, works in tourism, while Dukagjin, an Albanian, previously lent his vocals to the rock band Oda. Dua entered the world on August 22, 1995, followed by her sister Rina’s birth on May 14, 2001, and her brother Gjin’s arrival on December 30, 2005.

The Lipa siblings’ journey has been marked by a close-knit bond and a shared passion for creativity. Despite their cosmopolitan upbringing split between London and Pristina, Kosovo, the family’s unity has remained steadfast. Rina’s dedication to dance, earning accolades in the UK’s former Rock Challenge dance competition, and Gjin’s foray into music production, reflect their individual pursuits within the arts.
