Dua Lipa Expresses Desire to ‘Pᴜsh Boundaries’ with Costume Changes During Grammys Performance

Dua Lipa aimed to make her performance at the 63rd annual Grammy Awards a standout event. In an interview after the show, Lipa, 25, discussed her dynamic performance of hits “Levitating” and “Don’t Start Now,” which included three costume changes designed by Atelier Versace. She expressed her desire to challenge herself and create something entirely new for the audience. Lipa explained that while there was some pressure performing at the Grammys, she was excited and eager to push her boundaries, from the choreography to the outfit changes, to deliver a memorable performance.

Starting her vibrant performance with “Levitating” in a sparkly magenta cape and crystal-adorned bralette, Lipa transitioned into a Swarovski-embellished blazer for “Don’t Start Now,” joined by DaBaby and masked backup dancers in matching pink Versace looks. She concluded with a sparkling two-piece set, all in a magenta palette. Lipa expressed pride in her team’s efforts, particularly her choreographer Charm La’Donna, for bringing the performance to life.

Additionally, Lipa won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album for “Future Nostalgia,” expressing gratitude for the album’s impact on her life and emphasizing the importance of happiness. Reflecting on her journey during the раndemic, Lipa acknowledged the ᴜnexpected nature of promoting her album from home but expressed gratitude for the response and support from fans.
