Expectant Blake Lively Takes a Break from Baby Preparations for Festive Shopping Spree

Amidst preparing for the arrival of her first child, pregnant Blake Lively took some time off on Sunday for Christmas shopping in Westport, Connecticut. The 27-year-old actress opted for a casual look, sporting a grey sweater and leggings as she left a local store, pushing a trolley filled with boxed items.

 While browsing festive trees, her open jacket showcased her prominent baby bump, last seen at Martha Stewart’s American Made Summit in early November. Blake’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, who recently expressed readiness to be hands-on as a dad, was not present during the outing.

During an interview with People magazine, Ryan mentioned his preparedness for parenting, drawing from his experience with nieces and nephews. This will be the first child for both Ryan and Blake, who tied the knot in September 2012.

While Ryan was previously married to actress Scarlett Johansson and engaged to singer Alanis Morissette, their relationship ended before his marriage to Blake. Despite not announcing a due date, the couple is expected to welcome their baby in the coming months.
