Dua Lipa opted for a relaxed look as she navigated through New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport alongside her father, Dukagjin, on Monday.
The 28-year-old singer arrived in the US in anticipation of the TIME100 Summit and TIME100 Gala this week, following her inclusion as one of the world’s most influential individuals by the magazine.
Sporting a green GAP hoodie underneath an unbuttoned quilted black coat, Dua paired her attire with comfortable blue and red tracksuit bottoms, adding a finishing touch with black trainers and a black bag brimming with essentials. Shielding her eyes with blue-tinted glasses, the recording artist made her way through the terminal.
Walking alongside his renowned daughter, Dua’s father, aged 55, donned a black jacket over a matching hoodie, complemented by black trousers, brown boots, and a holdall in tow.
Last week, Time Magazine unveiled its annual compilation of the hundred most influential people globally. Each honoree received a tribute, with Dua’s written by American singer-songwriter Patti Smith. The prestigious gala celebrating those on the list is scheduled for April 25 in New York City, with a primetime television broadcast set for May 12 on ABC in the US. The complete list is available on Time’s website.
Within the magazine, Dua shared insights about her foray into acting, notably her roles in the films “Barbie” and “Argylle” in the past year. In the 2023 Barbie film, the Albanian artist portrayed Mermaid Barbie and performed “Dance the Night.”
