Blake Lively has been filming the period drаmа “The Age of Adaline” for several weeks now. It seems she’s taken a cue from her character’s vintage fashion style, as she stepped out for a dinner party with her husband Ryan Reynolds on Saturday.

The 26-year-old actress donned a knee-length skirt, sheer black tights, hobnail-style shoes, a white top, and a burgundy coat. Her outfit was complemented by a silk scarf tied around her neck, a brown beanie, and a chain-strap handbag. Ryan, on the other hand, opted for a casual ensemble with jeans, a checked shirt, trainers, and a smart overcoat for warmth.

The couple was spotted leaving a dinner party hosted by Ryan’s mother, Tammy, at her apartment in Vancouver, Canada. It seems Blake enjoyed the food a bit too much, as she was seen carrying a bowl full of cake as they headed home.

Blake has been filming “The Age of Adaline” for the past few months, but she recently shared that she’s appreciated the break from work to focus on her marriage with Ryan. They were married in a private ceremony near Charleston, South Carolina, in September 2012. Blake told Elle magazine’s April issue that it was “really nice” to step away from the spotlight for a while and focus on their relationship.

She mentioned that being on “Gossip Girl” for six years, with its intense shooting schedule, left her little time to just relax and enjoy life. Taking time off to settle into her new role as a wife has been a welcome change, giving her the chance to work on personal projects and enjoy a more balanced life.
