Though a photo appeared to show Blake smiling and waving, the 33-year-old actress took to social media to clarify that the situation was far from friendly. She responded to the now-deleted post on the publication’s Instagram page, calling it “deceitful.”

Blake explained thаt the real story was about a man who was stalking her children during the day, jumping out from hiding places as she and her daughters walked. The situation was so disturbing that a stranger on the street became involved. Blake said, “He would run away—and jump out again at the next block—when I tried to calmly approach the photographer you hired to take these pictures to talk to him.” She described the incident as “frightening.”
