Dua Lipa has revealed the rigorous regimen she adheres to while on tour, as she gears up for her sixth tour promoting her latest album, “Radical Optimism.”
During a conversation with Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett on their popular podcast “Dish From Waitrose,” the 28-year-old, seven-time Brit Award winner discussed the significant differences in her eating habits while on tour. She mentioned that once she settles into a routine and her body is in prime condition, she focuses on maintaining stamina. However, she highlighted the absence of аlϲоҺоl and Һоt sauce from her diet, emphasizing a preference for steak and vegetables.
Her disciplined dietary habits are complemented by an intense workout schedule. She described her pre-tour routine as packed with rehearsals, abstaining from аlϲоҺоl, and rigorous exercise, all aimed at preparing for upcoming shows, especially after a hiatus of proper tour performances for a year.
Dua elaborated on her rehearsal process, emphasizing the need to ensure that new dance moves do not compromise her vocal performance. Additionally, she stressed the importance of maintaining physical fitness to handle the adrenaline rush during live performances.
Despite her busy schedule, the two-time Grammy winner ensures she explores each city she visits, with a focus on culinary experiences. She confessed that food plays a central role in her tour planning, often scheduling restaurant visits and cultural excursions around her performances. Surprisingly, she noted that touring allows her more downtime, enabling her to fully immerse herself in the local culture and indulge in being a tourist.
