Dua Lipa and Timothée Chalamet both arrived in Japan separately to promote their respective new projects on Saturday.
The 28-year-old singer concealed her face behind opaque black sunglasses and donned a black coat with blue accents.
Actor Timothée, aged 27, sported a glossy, floor-length faux-leather trench coat and charmingly held up a fluffy toy alarm clock.
At Narita International Airport, both stars were greeted by throngs of fans, with Dua graciously posing for selfies and Timothée happily signing autographs.
Dua and Timothée are in Japan to promote their upcoming ventures. Dua’s latest single, “Houdini,” released in November, received a stellar five-star rating from The Independent.
“Houdini” serves as the lead single from Dua’s highly anticipated third studio album, DL3, slated for release in November. This year marked her foray into acting with a brief appearance in Greta Gerwig’s blockbuster “Barbie.” Next year, she will star in “Argylle,” a spy action comedy alongside John Cena and Henry Cavill.
Meanwhile, Timothée was in Japan to promote his upcoming film “Wonka,” a remake of “Charlie And The Chocolate Factory,” set to Һιt theaters on December 8th. The project originated in 2016 when Warner Bros. Pictures reacquired the rights to Roald Dahl’s renowned children’s story. In 2018, Paul King was announced as the director, with Timothée reportedly being the director’s top choice for the lead role.
In addition to “Wonka,” Timothée’s lineup for 2024 includes “Dune: Part Two,” a sequel to the epic science fiction film “Dune” released in 2021, which also features Austin Butler and Florence Pugh.
