In recent weeks, Blake Lively has been stepping out in some stylish fall ensembles.
The expectant mother is aware that her fashion choices garner attention, leading fans to her website, Preserve, where they can purchɑse similar pieces. On Monday, the 27-year-old actress was spotted in New York wearing an item from her Preserve collection—a ‘reverse raven trench cloak.’
The following day, UsWeekly reported that Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, have chosen not to find out the sex of their baby until the birth.
“Blake and Ryan aren’t finding out what they’re having,” an insider revealed to the publication. “They want to be surprised!”
Blake appeared confident as she walked through Manhattan without her husband.
The cloak, designed by Lindsey Thornburg, is described on the Preserve website as being made from “plush Pendleton wool,” with a price tag of $1,350. The “Gossip Girl” star paired the cloak with black jeggings and slouchy black suede boots with a three-inch heel for added style.
Her blonde hair was left loose and tucked into the hood of her cape. Her makeup featured a pop of candy-red lipstick that matched the scarlet pattern on her coat. A photo of the actress wearing the cloak while crossing a New York City street was shared on Preserve’s Instagram account with the caption: “Preserve’s mama, Blake seen representin’ in NY today! Send us pics of you guys in your #PreserveStyle.”
At the Angel Ball on October 20, Lively paired a floor-length white gown with a $500 Thomas Sires coat, also available on Preserve.
In the previous week, she was seen in three different outfits from Preserve: one while shopping for baby toys, one at an art gallery opening, and another while attending a play with her “Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants” co-stars.
It was reported earlier this year that there would be a third installment of the “Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants” franchise. While none of the stars have confirmed their involvement, Blake Lively, Amber Tamblyn, Alexis Bledel, and America Ferrera have maintained a close friendship since their debut in the 2005 teen drɑmɑ film.
The foursome has been seen enjoying girly catch-ups in New York over the past couple of months and even supported America Ferrera at her Off-Broadway show “Lips Together, Teeth Apart.”
Blake announced at the beginning of October via her lifestyle blog that she and her husband Ryan Reynolds, 38, were expecting their first child together.
The couple has been married for two years.
