Dua Lipa found herself surrounded by eager fans as she ventured out to Kent to shoot an O2 advertisement on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year.
The 28-year-old singer, known for hits like “Houdini,” was seen in Broadstairs on Saturday, clad in a daring ensemble of black feathers and leather despite the scorching weather.
Although many speculated that Dua was filming a new music video, it was later revealed that the shoot was for an O2 commercial.
Dua’s presence caused quite a commotion as fans who had come to the beach to enjoy the sun flocked to catch a glimpse of the pop sensation in action. With their camera phones ready, the enthusiastic crowd overwhelmed the production crew, necessitating the assistance of a local security firm.
The sheer number of fans prompted the production team to reorganize the shoot, ensuring Dua could discreetly enter and exit scenes through shop backdoors.
Despite the sweltering heat, Dua stepped out for filming in a striking outfit consisting of a sheer cardigan adorned with oversized black, purple, and blue feathers, revealing a black ƅгɑ underneath. Paired with thick leather wide-leg trousers featuring a silver studded belt and patent stilettos, the ensemble made a bold statement.
Dua’s fiery red locks cascaded loosely over her shoulders, accentuated by a chunky silver chain necklace completing her look.
Amidst the scorching heat, local amusements and the ice cream shop were closed during filming. Signs attached to barriers informed passersby of the ongoing production and apologized for any inconvenience caused.
Fans took to social media to speculate that Dua might be shooting a new music video. However, ϲоnfusion was dispelled when a cover band named Kiss The Shapes shared an Instagram story, revealing that one of its band members was set to appear in the commercial – an advert for the phone company O2.
