The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey, 53, and her fiancé, Mike Hill, tied the knot on Saturday in a grand wedding ceremony at the Governors Towne Club in Acworth, Georgia. PEOPLE magazine exclusively revealed the joyous event.

“Mike and I are elated that today has finally come! 10/10/20 is and always will be our perfect date. We are not perfect, but are perfect for each other,” the newlyweds shared with PEOPLE. “We are living in a very different time, and now more than ever we realize that life is too short, and to never take anything for granted. We are so grateful to have found each other. Love with the help of God conquers all.”

Bailey dazzled in a gown designed by Nneka C. Alexander of Brides by Nona, complemented by Badgley Mischka shoes and a headpiece from Bridal Styles Boutique. The couple exchanged rings from Rockford Collection and Beverly Diamonds, orchestrated by wedding planner Courtney Ajinça.

Excited to marry her “best friend,” Bailey told PEOPLE, “This is not our first rodeo. Both Mike and I have been married before — but we are ready to ride!”

Having self-isolated together for several months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Hill, 50, added, “If we could survive that, we can survive anything together. We’re happy, we’re ready to go.”

The couple exchanged vows in front of 250 guests, including Bailey’s RHOA costars Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, and former castmate Eva Marcille, who served as bridesmaids. “I couldn’t imagine my day without them,” Bailey said.

In light of the ongoing pandemic, Bailey and Hill implemented strict precautions to ensure the safety of their guests. They hired a team to deep clean the venue before the event, and guests underwent temperature checks and were required to wash their hands before entering. Inside, seating adhered to social-distancing guidelines, and masks were mandatory. “We want to make people feel comfortable and not look irresponsible,” Hill explained. “We’re doing everything we possibly can.”

Bailey and Hill’s engagement in July 2019 came after 14 months of dating. Hill proposed with a stunning 5-carat princess cut solitaire ring at the grand opening of Bailey’s new business, The Bailey Wine Cellar, in Atlanta.

This marks the second marriage for both Bailey and Hill. Bailey was previously married to Peter Thomas from 2010 to 2017, while Hill currently works at Fox Sports 1 in Los Angeles.
