The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star welcomed cameras into her stunning six-bedroom, ten-bathroom home in the exclusive Buckhead suburb, which spans almost 10,000 square feet. The mansion has been fully decked out for the festive season, thanks to celebrity interior stylist Chavien Shy, who spent eight days transforming the space.
Parks, known for her traditional Christmas style, expressed her excitement, saying, “Christmas time is our most favorite time of the year.” She revealed that the decorations include a 16-foot tree, Boxwood dogs fashioned in Burberry, poinsettias throughout the house, and a special tree in her sons’ bedroom decorated with red and white themes.
The holiday spirit extends to the kitchen, where Parks and her sons enjoy making Christmas cookies and hot chocolate. The boys, Dylan and Ayden, are well-traveled, having recently visited Cuba for Dylan’s sixth birthday. This year, Dylan has expressed a desire to visit Paris and Beijing, showing his love for culture and travel.
Parks emphasized her role as a hands-on mom, sharing that she starts cooking three days before Christmas. Her menu includes turkey, ham, ribs, pot roast, and all the fixings, reflecting her Southern roots and love for traditional holiday fare.
Despite the festivities, Parks is mindful of those who may find the holiday season difficult, especially those who have lost loved ones. She makes a point to invite friends who are alone or grieving to her Christmas celebrations, aiming to spread love and joy during what can be a challenging time for many.
