Brazilian model Kelly Piquet, 34, has been in a relationship with Max Verstappen, 24, since 2020.

Her father, Nelson Piquet, is a three-time F1 world champion from Brazil. He sparked controversy last year by using a racist term to insult Lewis Hamilton. Kelly became involved in the controversy when she liked a social media post asserting that her father did not intend to be racist. Nelson Piquet later apologized to Hamilton.

Verstappen is not the first F1 driver Kelly has dated. She has a daughter with Daniil Kvyat, a Russian driver who competed in F1 from 2014-2016 and again from 2019-2020.

Kelly has over 900k Instagram followers. She posted “Love always wins” while attending the wedding of Verstappen’s sister. Verstappen also shared a picture of Kelly and his mother with the caption: “Happy Mother’s Day to these amazing mothers.”
