Jurgen Klopp Bids Final Farewell: Former Liverpool Boss Leaves Merseyside with Wife Ulla After Emotional Event

Jurgen Klopp was observed boarding a private jet to leave Liverpool after saying his final farewell to the Merseyside giants.

The German manager said an emotional goodbye to the club a little over a week ago, bringing an end to a highly decorated nine-year tenure at Anfield.

He then returned on Tuesday night for ‘An Evening With Jurgen Klopp’, an event held at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena, where he broke down in tears as he bid goodbye.

He then rose up and placed his palm on his heart to acknowledge the support, before performing his iconic fist pumps, which he frequently did while celebrating major victories as Liverpool manager.

The 56-year-old has rapidly adjusted to life away from football since leaving Liverpool, and he flew to Majorca with Ulla last week.

MailOnline earlier reported that Klopp planned to stay at a fancy five-star hotel in the Balearic Islands.

Klopp and his wife of 20 years will spend time at the Kimpton Aysla Hotel while the construction of their new £3.4 million property is completed.

The property has been dubbed as a ‘ecological family paradise’, which he purchased from Swiss businessman and artist Rolf Knie in June 2022 for €4 million (£3.4 million) and plans to entirely renovate.

‘It’s not that I tried too hard (to go on holiday), therefore I didn’t have time,’ Klopp told Liverpool’s official website.

‘I had time, but a summer vacation for me at the end of the season was like taking the first available sunbed and having a phone here to talk to agents, sporting directors, and so on.

‘There were no training sessions, but the rest of the activities continued. So I didn’t see 1% of the world for nothing.

‘Now we will do nothing, we will watch the Euros here and there, (I’m) really looking forward to it, followed by a holiday doing nothing, and then the plan is to start travelling and see how that works.’
