Future Plan: Jurgen Klopp’s £3.4M Majorca Mansion Set to Transform into ‘Ecological Paradise’ with Pool and Advanced Air Conditioning Systems, Poised for Retirement Bliss

JURGEN KLOPP could retire to his £3.4million Majorca mansion once he quits Liverpool.

The Reds boss announced he stepped down at the end of the season following nine years at Anfield

Jürgen Klopp has lifted the lid on what life could be like for him after leaving Liverpool at the end of the 2023/24 campaign. The German announced he would be parting ways with Anfield back in January and took charge of his final game against Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier in May.

The 56-year-old’s reign at the club lasted just under a decade after taking over from Brendan Rodgers back in 2015. Now he is set for a life of luxury for the foreseeable future after purchasing a luxury villa on the Spanish island of Majorca.

The property was bought for around $4.3million (£3.4m/€4m) and could be the perfect place for Klopp to unwind, after citing his lack of energy as one of the reasons he was leaving Liverpool.

Speaking on the podcast Willipedia via Bild, Klopp opened up on why he was drawn to the Island in his post-Liverpool days. “I’ve dreamed of having a house in the south all my life. I like the weather, the climate, I like the people,” he said.

“There are lots of things I like here and also people I already know. It’s not like I’m looking for new friends. I already have friends for life, and if some of them are here too, that’s cool.

“I don’t want to emigrate. We go on holiday here every now and then. But when I’m here, I want everything to be as I know it. That’s totally boring but the point is that I want to get to know a different life, but not somewhere in the jungle or on the mountain.”

Klopp also mentioned the medical care as a reason he could see himself spending more time on the island as he grows older. “We’re getting older and the medical care here is great,” he continued.
