Fans of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel *It Ends with Us* have a reason to celebrate as the first look photos of the upcoming film adaptation have been released, showcasing Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni in their roles as Lily Bloom and Ryle Kincaid.

The film, directed by Justin Baldoni, is set to hit theaters on August 9, 2024. The story follows Lily Bloom (Lively), who, after a traumatic childhood, starts anew in Boston with the dream of opening her own business. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she meets the charming neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid (Baldoni). As their relationship deepens, Lily begins to see unsettling similarities between Ryle and her parents’ tumultuous relationship. Justin Baldoni also shared his personal experience portraying Ryle: “In some way, playing Ryle was actually very healing to me as Justin. There were parts of me as Justin that I thought that I had maybe worked on and healed that I realized I hadn’t. Getting to know this character and his depth and his love and his joy and his darkness, I was actually able to work on those parts of myself.”
