In our eyes, Blake Lively can truly do no wrong.

The Gossip Girl alum and icon of our time has a real knack for picking outfits that simply cannot be faulted. And while she first shot to stardom some 17 years ago, she just keeps getting better with every year.

Her latest win? Stepping out in New York City in a bright tangerine outfit consisting a cut-out one-piece body suit, a blazer, flared pants and, just to finish it off, a statement belt—the whole look was courtesy of US designer, Sergio Hudson.

Dear reader, our 70s siren era has officially commenced.

Lively is famous for choosing to ditch her stylist back in 2018. At the time, she told Women’s Wear Daily that she “just likes it”.

“I love design and I love fashion and it’s a way to be creative. In my job I get to be creative, but it’s over a period of time and so many other people are involved, whereas this is a beginning, middle and end, and I get to be creative and there’s an end date in the near future,” she said at the time.

She added that the hardest part is going through all the fashion shows and picking out the exact looks she wants.

“I have an assistant who helps in calling in the looks. But a lot of it is I have relationships with the designers,” she added.

We’re willing to bet Sergio Hudson is one of her favourites at the moment—and we certainly can’t blame her.
