Blake Lively isn’t afraid of a little denim-on-denim action!

On Saturday, July 14, the Gossip Girl alum shared a post on Instagram about a recent night out with friends when she wore a Self-Portrait denim minidress embellished with rhinestones and a denim Dries Van Noten trench coat.

Lively, 36, completed the look with a tiny denim Chanel purse, Gucci shoes and Storrow Jewelry.

The It Ends with Us actress was at Carbone in New York City’s Greenwich Village on June 28 with costars Hasan Minaj, Brandon Sklenar, Isabela, Ferrer and other friends, celebrating Sklenar’s birthday.

“You say Canadian Prom Dress, I say It’s Britney B—-,” she wrote in Saturday’s post, referring to Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake’s iconic 2001 American Music Awards denim fashion moment.

“Happy belated birthday to @brandonsklenar We had so much fun celebrating with all the @itendswithusmovie cast who was in town,” Lively added.

Jenny Slate and Justin Baldoni, who also star in the movie (with Baldoni also directing the project), seemed to miss out on the cast gathering.

Lively’s Instagram post featured other moments from the night out, including Sklenar, 34, getting presented with a candle-adorned dessert as the group sang to him.

Lively previously had a major denim moment when she rocked Valentino cutout jeans embroidered with flowers that cost a cool $19,000. “Well. You finally got a Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants sequel last night,” she joked about the look on Instagram last month.

Ever the denim aficionado, Lively treated Sklenar to floral jeans that she stitched flowers onto for an It Ends with Us preview event.

” to everyone who showed up in their floral jeans alongside us, including @brandonsklenar (jeans handmade by me & @isabela.ferrer ),” she wrote in her Instagram caption, which featured the personalized pants.
