Nike Football has unveiled their second Mercurial 360 collaboration of the year, featuring a limited edition design by Virgil Abloh of Off-White. Set to be worn by Kylian Mbappé on March 31 when PSG faces Monaco, this bold new design will be released on the same day.
Abloh’s distinctive style, renowned in high-end lifestyle fashion, is prominently featured on the “Total Orange” upper of Nike’s latest Mercurial generation. The design emphasizes foot and eye coordination with dots marking key strike zones, showcasing a unique blend of contemporary aesthetics and functionality.
Following the earlier Kim Jones x Mercurial Vapor 360 collaboration, Abloh’s contribution further merges lifestyle and performance, placing Nike’s leading silo in a highly coveted spotlight. The boots will be released in limited quantities, presented in a custom box with Off-White’s signature branding on the medial side. Literal text such as “box,” “shoelaces,” “knit,” and “bootbag” are integrated into the design.
While the Nike Mercurial Vapor 360 x Virgil Abloh will launch in a low-cut Vapor silhouette, Mbappé will sport a customized Superfly 360 version on the pitch. Details of a broader Nike x Off-White collaboration for the 2018 World Cup have emerged, and the collection will include a collaborative jersey that Mbappé will wear to debut the boots.
The Nike Mercurial Vapor 360 x Virgil Abloh collaboration will be available on the Nike Store when Mbappé wears them for the first time on Saturday, with additional pairs reserved for select retailers.
