According to the official voting, the U.S. team captain was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2024 Olympics, averaging 14.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 8.5 assists per game.
In the final, LeBron delivered a double-double with 14 points, 10 assists, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals, helping the U.S. secure a 98-87 victory over the host nation. Despite being 39 years old, LeBron James remains the standout basketball star of the entire Olympic event held in France. He provided numerous highlight-reel moments, with the most impressive being his triple-double of 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists in the semifinal against Serbia.
This was only the fourth triple-double in Olympic history, with two of them belonging to LeBron. The significance was further heightened as James achieved this feat while leading Team USA to a comeback win over Serbia and securing a spot in the final.
