Few players in modern football have had such a deep connection with their boots as Toni Kroos has with the adidas 11PRO. To celebrate this unique bond, adidas is releasing a special limited edition of the 11PRO, the 11PRO TK, which is finished in gold
.
Toni Kroos, widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders ever, is aiming to cap off the 23/24 season by leading Real Madrid to their 15th Champions League title. Throughout his illustrious career, Kroos has been closely associated with the adidas 11PRO, making it the most decorated boot in football history with four Champions League victories to its name.
The 11PRO first debuted in late 2013 and was soon replaced by newer models, but Kroos remained loyal to it, despite adidas’ efforts to transition him to the COPA 19 in 2018. To honor this steadfast loyalty, adidas has created the limited edition golden 11PRO TK.
In late 2023, adidas acknowledged Kroos’ legacy by rereleasing two versions of the 11PRO: an ultra-limited version tailored to Kroos’ exact specifications and a wider release version updated with modern features. Now, the 11PRO TK celebrates Kroos’ remarkable career with a design featuring a clean white base adorned with golden accents. The boot includes gold Three Stripes branding on black, monochromatic stitching on the lightweight leather upper, and a clear gel adiPure soleplate for excellent traction, reflecting Kroos’ original pair. Kroos’ signature appears on both the outsole and insole, complemented by a golden electroplated heel.
Designed with direct input from Kroos himself, the 11PRO TK represents his style and performance standards. “People have come to know me for my loyalty to the 11PRO,” Kroos said. “It’s definitely my signature boot, and collaborating with adidas on this special edition was an honor. I’m excited to wear them on the field soon.”
This special release not only honors Kroos’ exceptional career but also marks the 10th anniversary of the 11PRO TK, the style he has worn through numerous victories since 2014. All eyes will be on Wembley on June 1 to see if these iconic boots make an appearance on the pitch.
