D’Angelo Russell Lists $4 Million Mansion to Upgrade to a Larger Home—From Wayzata to Los Angeles

Không có mô tả ảnh.Interior designer Tiffany Thompson drew inspiration from her travels to Yakushima, a lush Japanese island, when revamping NBA star D’Angelo Russell’s mansion in Wayzata. Her design seamlessly integrates Japanese aesthetics with a philosophy of openness and exploration, which she detailed during an Architectural Digest home tour. Russell, who had requested a black-and-white color palette, praised the finished project, noting that the home helped him feel settled in Minnesota.

Despite his satisfaction with the renovation, Russell, formerly of the Minnesota Timberwolves, has listed the mansion for $4 million following his trade to the Los Angeles Lakers. The property, which was bought for $2.5 million in 2020 and is registered under Russell’s father, Antonio, features amenities tailored to a professional athlete. These include an NBA-grade gym, a bar/lounge, a golf simulator, a podcast studio, an elevator, a porch with a hot tub and vending machine, and an outdoor pool. The mansion is also decorated with guitars, video game controllers, and memorabilia of Muhammad Ali.

However, Russell, formerly a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves, has been traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, prompting him to list the luxurious property for $4 million.

Russell was initially acquired by the Timberwolves with the expectation that he would form a dynamic duo with Karl-Anthony Towns. However, the anticipated success did not materialize, leading to Russell’s trade to the Lakers in a multi-team deal. Despite the outcome, Towns expressed support for Russell’s new opportunity. During the postseason with LeBron James, Russell’s performance showed some improvement, although the Lakers were swept by the Denver Nuggets. It is reported that Russell hopes to return to the Crypto.com Arena next year as a Laker, though he does not expect to secure a maximum contract.
