Crystal Clear Former Arsenal player is “banished from training” by the Premier League team and removes all social media mentions of them.

Rob Holding, the former Arsenal defender, has erased all traces of Crystal Palace from his social media after being relegated to solitary training sessions. Since his move to Palace last year, Holding has only featured once for the team. His situation worsened with the arrivals of Chadi Riad, Maxence Lacroix, and Trevoh Chalobah this summer, pushing him further down the squad hierarchy.

Holding’s struggles with injuries and his apparent exclusion from manager Oliver Glasner’s plans have led to him training alone. Glasner confirmed that Holding’s solitary training is a private matter between them, adding, “Rob [Holding] is training individually at the moment. We will talk together. He knows the reason, but it is something that stays between Rob and me. Nothing public.”

He has unfollowed the club on Instagram and deleted his Palace posts

The move has prompted a wave of support from Arsenal fans, who lamented Holding’s situation. One fan remarked, “It’s unfortunate how things have turned out for him. Despite any criticisms, he never shied away from the challenge, unlike many others he played alongside.” Another suggested, “He’s a solid centre-back. Surely a lower Premier League club will be keen on him?” A third fan expressed concern, stating, “It’s disheartening to hear this. He deserves to find a club where he can thrive.”
