Since his move to Palace last year, Holding has only featured once for the team. His situation worsened with the arrivals of Chadi Riad, Maxence Lacroix, and Trevoh Chalobah this summer, pushing him further down the squad hierarchy.

Holding’s struggles with injuries and his apparent exclusion from manager Oliver Glasner’s plans have led to him training alone. Glasner confirmed that Holding’s solitary training is a private matter between them, adding, “Rob [Holding] is training individually at the moment. We will talk together.
