Arsenal are reportedly eyeing Marcus Thuram of Inter Milan as a potential addition to their squad.
Despite being linked with several strikers like Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres, and Victor Osimhen, the Gunners did not manage to bring in a new forward during the summer transfer window. Mikel Arteta is still keen on bolstering his attack and is considering a move for a striker either in January or next summer.
Thuram, who joined Inter from Borussia Monchengladbach last summer, has caught Arsenal’s attention. According to Inter Live, Arsenal might propose a swap deal involving Gabriel Jesus moving to Inter Milan.
However, the Italian club is likely to demand a considerable cash sum in addition to the player exchange.
If Arsenal can find a strong replacement, they may contemplate selling Jesus next year. Thuram has been in impressive form this season, scoring four goals and adding two assists in just three matches. With 49 appearances for Inter and 26 caps for France, Thuram’s profile continues to rise.
