LeBron James and his wife Savannah recently enjoyed a romantic boat trip off the coast of Capri, just weeks after Team USA’s triumph in the Paris Olympics. The high school sweethearts, who first met in LeBron’s hometown of Akron, Ohio, were seen sharing a cozy moment on a white yacht near the Italian island on Wednesday. The NBA star was seen resting his head on Savannah’s shoulder as they relaxed and had drinks together.
The couple, who were joined by friends, took a break from the demanding NBA season that resumes in October. LeBron and Savannah, who have three children—Bronny, 19, Bryce, 17, and Zhuri, 9—later returned to shore on a smaller boat.
For the outing, LeBron wore a stylish black-and-white tank top by Aime Leon Dore, while Savannah chose a colorful three-piece beach ensemble.
LeBron has been making the most of his summer in Europe, celebrating his Olympic gold medal win over France before heading to Munich, where he was seen enjoying Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain” in the rain. LeBron was also spotted dancing with rapper Stormzy, and later with NBA player Draymond Green, both wearing Adele-themed ponchos.
LeBron’s connection to Adele comes through his long-time agent and friend Rich Paul, who is engaged to the British pop star. Adele recently confirmed their engagement during her Munich residency, showcasing her ring to the audience.
As he prepares for his 22nd NBA season at 39 years old, LeBron will also experience a special moment this season by playing alongside his eldest son, Bronny, who was drafted by the Lakers. Bronny made headlines at the Olympics by being seen with an Olympian’s daughter while watching his father play.
LeBron, who scored 14 points in the gold medal game, celebrated Team USA’s victory over France with his teammates at an afterparty at L’Avenue restaurant in Paris. At the event, he and Kevin Durant were spotted wearing Team USA shirts featuring animated portraits of the 12-man roster.
