Kim Kardashian recently took her children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm—to Madrid to watch their favorite sports teams. This week, Kim and her 8-year-old son, Saint, visited Real Madrid’s training ground, where they had the opportunity to meet and snap photos with stars like David Alaba, Eduardo Camavinga, and Vinicius Jr.
However, it was Jude Bellingham who truly made an impression, as he signed a custom jersey for Saint. Bellingham, who is featured in Kim’s Skims underwear campaign, was all smiles during their meeting.
Kim’s visit comes with a touch of superstition, as Real Madrid supporters are wary of what’s known as the “Kardashian Curse.” This superstition arose last year when Kim’s visit to the Emirates coincided with Arsenal’s dramatic exit from the Europa League and their eventual loss of the Premier League title to Manchester City.
Adding to the concern, Real Madrid had a challenging start to their season, drawing their opener 1-1 with Mallorca and suffering a red card for Ferland Mendy. Bellingham himself was recently sidelined with a foot injury.
On a lighter note, Kim revealed on Jimmy Fallon’s show that her kids are eager to set her up with a sports star. Saint, in particular, has a list of potential suitors, primarily athletes. Kim, though, isn’t quite ready for matchmaking and has expressed her reluctance to her children’s well-intentioned efforts.
As Real Madrid prepares for their upcoming match against Valladolid, fans are hoping that the so-called curse doesn’t strike again, despite Kim’s high-profile visit.
