Vinícius Jr. Enjoys Miami with the Dolphins

Vinícius Jr. and Éder Militao, UEFA Champions League winners with Real Madrid, visited the Miami Dolphins of the NFL before joining their national team for the Copa América in the United States, which kicks off on June 20.

After helping Real Madrid secure their fifteenth European title last Saturday, Vinícius José Paixão de Oliveira and Éder Gabriel Militão Pinheiro traveled to Orlando, Florida, where they will join coach Dorival Silvestre Júnior’s squad.

The Miami Dolphins shared a video on their social media showing the two players at the NFL team’s facilities, mingling with some of the franchise’s stars.

“Vini, Vini, Vini,” cheered wide receiver Odell Beckham as he greeted Vinícius, waving a Dolphins jersey with the number 7 and the name “Vini Jr.” on the back, which he handed to the Brazilian star. After a handshake, Beckham gave the 23-year-old forward a warm hug and presented the jersey. He then jokingly introduced Vinícius to Mike McDaniel, the Dolphins’ coach.

“Here’s the coach. The most swaggering coach in the NFL,” Odell said with a laugh. “We’re fans from afar,” McDaniel told the visitors.

Vinícius reciprocated Beckham’s gesture by gifting him a black Real Madrid jersey with his number 7 on the back, which he signed. Militao also received a Dolphins jersey with his traditional number 3 and his last name on it.

After posing for some photos with Odell Beckham, the Real Madrid players toured the team’s facilities, where they greeted Miami’s quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa.

In the locker room, both Brazilians donned their Dolphins jerseys. Vinícius even put on a team helmet and gloves and grabbed a football to try his hand as a running back.

The Brazilian national football team will start their Copa América campaign in the United States on June 24, facing Costa Rica.
