The team completed their first training session of the week at Real Madrid City, with Courtois joining the group. The players available to Carlo Ancelotti worked alongside several members of the youth academy. The session began with a warm-up, followed by ball circulation exercises and rigorous pressing drills. The session ended with a number of games on a small pitch.Tchouameni, Carvajal, Alaba, Lucas Vázquez and Rodrygo continued with their recovery programmes. The latter three did a short session on their own on the pitch. Real Madrid’s next match will be against Leganés at the Municipal de Butarque stadium (Sunday, 6.30 pm CET).
