Real Madrid have published an updated medical report on Eder Militao, confirming that the Brazilian defender underwent surgery this Tuesday to repair the torn ACL he suffered weeks ago.

Militao will miss the remainder of the season. The Brazilian defender will try to be ready for the 2025-26 pre-season stage but it’s clear that the club’s medical staff will not take any risks with him. Still, if everything goes according to plan, Militao should be ready to play when Real Madrid play their season opener next summer, although he could need some extra time to regain confidence on his lower body.
