It’s difficult to find a genuine friend in Hollywood.

There was no mistaking Samuel L Jackson and Magic Johnson’s close friendship as they enjoyed a well-deserved vacation in Italy on Tuesday.

The dynamic duo were joined by their wives as they worked on their True Bromance by spending the day shopping and touring in Portofino, a Genoan seaside fishing village.

Say cheese: Magic Johnson and Samuel L Jackson appeared to be having a joy as they posed with friends for a lovely photo during a family vacation to the picturesque Italian coastal town of Portofino.

Samuel L Jackson, Magic Johnson’s brother from another mother, was having a terrific time with him in Italy on Tuesday.

Sam, 65, an Avengers actor, looked as stylish as a senior in a blue polo shirt, tartan shorts, and shoes.

And he appeared to be paying homage to his surroundings by finishing off his look with a fashionable fisherman’s cap.

Magic, 54, also pushed the edge by wearing a bright pink polo top, tartan shorts, and white shoes.

Later, the two appeared equally bored as they waited inside a designer clothing store after being dragged in by their other halves.

They even dress the same: The only difference was the colour as they donned polo shirts, shorts and trainers

Having a “Black Snake Moan,” Sam and Magic were likely enjoying a good whine as their wives racked up credit card bills.

However, it’s doubtful they were exchanging basketball stories to pass the time. While Sam’s beloved San Antonio Spurs celebrated their NBA championship this year, Magic’s LA Lakers missed the playoffs for the first time in nearly a decade.

Following the Spurs’ remarkable victory, the True Romance star tweeted: “I love waking up to Good News. SPURS!! CHAMPS!! Way to take care of bizness. Congrats to All!!! I’m… YAAAAYYYYY!!!!!”

European trips have become a summer tradition for the close friends. In 2011, they enjoyed a family holiday in Portofino, Italy, and last July, they visited the island of Capri for their second Italian getaway in three years.
