In 2015, EJ underwent gastric sleeve surgery, leading to significant weight loss. He shared with E! News that he maintains his weight by opting for lighter meals. “For me, I just constantly nibble throughout the day instead of sitting down for large meals,” he explained.
EJ also stays active by working out with a trainer and practicing Pilates, aiming for at least four sessions a week. He emphasized the importance of enjoying his workouts, saying, “It’s all about maintaining my weight while having a good time. Find a workout that you love. For me, it’s not even working out; it’s just having fun. We dance a lot, we sweat, and at the end of it, I feel great knowing I burned calories without even realizing it.”
